Only with your consent, this site uses Google Analytics 4, a measurement service provided by Google Ireland Limited. It helps us understand in aggregate how the newspaper is used, such as which pages are visited and for how long. We do not use these cookies to display personalised advertising.
- _ga: distinguishes visitors and has a maximum duration of 2 years.
- _ga_<ID>: retains session state and has a maximum duration of 2 years.
- ck_consent (necessary first-party local storage): remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies for up to 24 months, so we do not ask on every visit. It does not track you.

3. Consent
Google Analytics remains blocked until you select “Accept cookies”. If you reject them, the Google tag is not loaded and no measurements are sent. Accepting and rejecting are equally available options, and rejection does not restrict access to the site. We will ask you again after no more than 24 months, or sooner if the purposes or third parties change.
4. Changing your choice
You can reopen the notice through “Manage cookies” in the footer of any page and accept or reject analytics cookies. You can also delete or block them in your browser settings. When consent is withdrawn, we delete Google Analytics cookies accessible from this site and stop loading the tool on subsequent visits.
5. Transfers and changes
The use of Google Analytics may involve international processing or transfers by Google under its applicable terms and safeguards. This policy will be updated if the cookies, their purposes, or the providers used change. See the Privacy policy for more information.
