Book launch of «El Búnker del Olvido» on 16 October is postponed

The presentation of «El Búnker del Olvido», the mystery and suspense novel written by Lorena Alejandro López with the collaboration of Maria R. Coco, will not take place on Friday 16 October at Casa de la Cultura as announced. The organisers have postponed the event until further notice and have not set a new date, after the poster and the autumn programme of the municipal venue had announced the event at 7.00 pm.

The novel tells the story of a protagonist who confronts not only the darkness of the bunker that gives the book its title, but also that of her own memory. According to the synopsis on the poster, the echo of the corridors awakens buried fears and painful memories, and an unexpected event will mark for ever the boundary between what was and what will never return: a story about secrets, loss and the human capacity to overcome.

The event was promoted by Montserrat Suma and the Ajuntament de Montserrat, whose logos appeared on the announcement, and it had been presented as a new literary offering from Casa de la Cultura for its autumn programme. The cover, visible on the poster, hints at a dark atmosphere with two figures wearing gas masks.

So far, the organisers have not announced a new date or specified when the event might be rescheduled.
