The 5th Fira del Vermut returns to Montserrat from 2 to 4 October
Montserrat will hold the fifth edition of the Fira del Vermut i Comerç Local, known as the Vermut Fest, from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 October. The fairground will be set up once again in the plaça del Raval (the Raval square), next to the post office, with stalls selling local produce, gastronomy and local trade, and with no entry fee.
Vermouth, a wine aromatised with herbs and spices, is the thread running through an event that combines gastronomy, crafts and live music. On Saturday and Sunday the square will also host an artisan market with products and creations by local makers.

The fair goes beyond vermouth. The Cooperativa Agrovinícola de Montserrat will open its doors over the three days in carrer del Doctor Marañón to show how its wines and mistelas (sweet fortified wines) are made, a nod to the town’s winemaking tradition.
With this event, Montserrat reinforces its autumn calendar and showcases local trade and aperitif culture, a gathering that every year brings residents and visitors from across the region to the plaça del Raval.
