The 45th Chamber Music Week closes with full houses across all six nights
The 45th Montserrat International Chamber Music Week closed its 2026 edition with a full house on every one of its six concert nights. From 20 to 25 July, the Plaça de l'Església recorded capacity audiences at every session, from the opening night with the Quinteto Cuesta to the finale by Kirill Troussov and Friends.
The festival, which marked its 45th edition this year, brought together ensembles from Spain, Italy and Germany with a programme ranging from Mozart's classicism to the contemporary saxophone of the Arcis Saxophon Quartett. Six consecutive nights, all at 10.30 pm in the Plaça de l'Església, once again turned the heart of the village into the open-air chamber music hall of the Ribera.
The audience response, with a full house every night, confirms the Chamber Music Week's standing as one of the benchmark cultural events of the summer in the region. The festival, organised with the support of the Town Council, has maintained its commitment to quality and proximity for more than four decades, attracting an audience that returns year after year and fills the square each July.
With these results, the 45th edition strengthens Montserrat's position as a meeting point for chamber music in the Ribera on summer nights.
