Lucía Galán Alemany crowned Regina de les Festes 2026 of Montserrat

The Plaça de l'Església in Montserrat hosted last night, from 10 pm, the presentation of the Regina de les Festes 2026, one of the most eagerly awaited moments of the town's festive calendar.

Lucía Galán Alemany was officially proclaimed Regina de les Festes, accompanied by her Maids of Honour, in a ceremony that brought together neighbours, families and local authorities around the candidates who will represent the town during the Festes Majors.

The presentation of the Regina is a deeply rooted tradition in Montserrat that, every year, gathers hundreds of people in the town square. The evening, marked by emotion and applause, served to officially introduce the protagonists of the central events of the festivities, which this year promise an especially intense programme.
